Your account includes several layers of spam protection. Here is how to reduce the spam reaching your inbox.
1. StopSpam.ca (SpamExperts) filtering
Your account includes our StopSpam.ca service, which blocks most spam, viruses, and phishing before it even reaches the server. Log in at login.stopspam.ca to review quarantined messages and manage your sender allow / block lists. See Getting Started with SpamExperts.
2. cPanel Spam Filters (SpamAssassin)
- Log in to cPanel and open Email > Spam Filters.
- Make sure Process New Emails and Mark them as Spam is enabled.
- Optionally enable Automatically Delete New Spam and set the spam threshold score (a lower number filters more aggressively).
- Use the Spam Filter Whitelist / Blacklist to always allow or always block specific senders.
3. Protect your address
Set your domain's Default Address to Discard so mail sent to random names at your domain is dropped (see Setting up Catch All Email). Avoid publishing your address in plain text on public web pages.
If you are hit by a large, sudden spam campaign, open a support ticket – we can apply additional server-level filtering for you.
